This is a hopeful time of year for some, while for others there is heightened distress and sadness. Life Matters Suicide Prevention Trust | Te Whare Oranga Ngākau is aware of this and will continue to provide the peer support right up until Kirihimete, re-opening in early January | Hanuere.
In this newsletter | panui we have further updates on our extended opening hours which begin this week, introduce new peer supporters and reflect on the important foundational training, Intentional Peer Support (IPS), that all of our peer supporters have now received. Stop by and say kia ora. We always have fresh fruit and cake!
