All money raised goes toward providing mental health support for tāngata whaiora (people seeking health) and support for those affected by suicide. This includes providing free counselling sessions, training in suicide prevention and operational costs.
Our free Peer Support Services are now funded through a recent contract with Te Whatu Ora.
In the name of our community, THANK YOU!
Please include DONATION as a reference and send an email to admin@lifematters.org.nz if you would like a tax receipt.
Life Matters is now partnered with The Good Registry – a service that simplifies charitable giving on special occasions. Birthday? Wedding? Anniversary? Whatever the occasion, it’s easy to create an online registry and nominate Life Matters for friends and family to give to. Consider Life Matters next time you have a big event coming up, and you can help us fund the services we provide free- of-charge to people in mental distress. That’s a doubly good reason to celebrate! Get more information about The Good Registry and how to sign up on their website using the link below.
Supergenerous is a digital service that automates the process of claiming back a charitable tax rebate. It takes just a few minutes to sign up and allows those who have donated to charitable organisations to effortlessly re-donate up to 33% of their past donations to worthy causes. Life Matters NZ is a partner of Supergenerous, and if you have donated to us and/or other charitable organisations in the past four years, you can use their platform to claim a rebate on your donations. You can then choose to donate a portion of that rebate back to Life Matters through Supergenerous, amplifying the impact of your donation. For more information and go get started on re-donating your rebate, check out the Supergenerous Website.
