Megan and the ex-Cadbury's group Project Hope & Beyond have started a givealittle page to support their incredible fundraising efforts for mental health. Here's a snippet from their page:
"Hello New Zealand we are Project Hope & Beyond,
We are a team of ex-Cadburys workers from the old Dunedin Chocolate Factory which closed in 2018. We formed Project Hope & Beyond in 2020 as we had so many staff who struggled with Mental Health issues after the closure of Cadburys Dunedin. It was incredibly hard dealing with the break up of our amazing community and it was even tougher knowing some of our staff faced bullying and discrimination after our redundancy.
We decided that we didn't want another New Zealand to suffer the same way that we did, and we didn't want to see New Zealanders struggling alone.
Since 2022 we started raising money for mental health and we have raised over $30,000 +. And every Saturday morning our ex-Cadburys workers have given up their mornings to fundraise on our old Cadburys Carpark. So grateful to the amazing people who show their support by sharing our page with the rest of New Zealand. Thank you!!"
